It's a Saturday and I'm in a hotel in a city where I don't really know anyone (met one friend for dinner the other night, and another friend nearby is out of town on business). One would think, especially with a Barnes & Noble with a cafe nearby, that I'd have made some headway.

Nope. Not a word so far, and it's 8pm eastern. I know what my problem is, and it sadly has nothing to do with plot or character.
