Check list, 1, 2, 3....
Feb. 14th, 2006 11:02 amOk, so the houpeland is nearly done. All that is left is a hook for the neck and to whip-stitch the faux lining hem so it doesn't open to the ground. I figure I can do both of those things AT Estrella, which opens up time for other things now. (Oh, and the houpeland is obscenely HUGE. My arms literally touch the ground when stretched straight out at my sides...). While it IS essentially completed, I'm not entirely happy with it. But, it WILL be going with me to Estrella to keep me warm :)
I also finished my matching cowl, but again am not as pleased with it as I should be. It is fixable, but I really should learn to not sew in a rush. :(
Now it is off to Costco for the traditional buying of the Redbulls which precedes every war... good times!
Hopefully the hearse will be ready soon. It is having the transmission resealed and they said I should have it back by this afternoon. I feel confident though, since the guy I talked to had a very clear understanding that I will be driving through the desert tonight. I just wished I had it back now!
Yes, today is indeed as stressful as I had imagined it.
