In theory, I pick Dublin too :) BUT, I have travelled within the US before and am comfortable and familiar enough to handle myself well if things go awry. I do not have the same level of comfort traveling abroad, though I know I only need to do it once to overcome my hesitancy.
I will also echo your vote and plunk one down for jaunting over to Italy for a spell. You really CAN'T beat the prices for travel within Europe once you are there.
