Quick Carpet Update...

So... the carpeting is installed. Here's a quick before and after pic:

Before, red carpet in the hallway looking towards craft and guest rooms:



After, green carpet in the hallway looking away from craft and guest rooms, towards master suite:



The loft is also complete, as well as the back stairs:

I'm still not convinced with those stairs. Maybe it's the angle of the picture, but all I'm saying is hold onto that bannister!!! :)

And why, when I look at the top photo, do I think there should be a kid riding a tricycle?

And really, the stairs are not steep. It has got to be the way they photograph.
