NaNoWriMo.... Am I off my rocker?

Yup, I am a glutton for punishment: I committed myself yesterday to writing a 50,000 word novel by the end of November. Given that I haven't a clue what I am going to write about, this should be a very interesting month indeed...

So, I guess it is time to dust off those writer's reference books and get to it. At the very least, I am hopeful this will get me a bit more motivated to write and actually put some words together; something this blog was intended for but seems to have been ignored in the recent past.

You should join in. It may give you some of that focus back to your writing which you have recently been lamenting. No time like the present to overfill your plate!

Yay for you doing this! I've been stagnating on my own writing progress over the last few weeks, and I've been thinking of doing a modified version of NANOWRIMO to get things stirred up again. I don't know if I'll sign up on the site, because I plan on continuing my novel that's in progress, but I was planning to post a blog announcing my intentions tomorrow.

In any case, you have my cheers and support! Can't wait to see your progress!
